Day 1

ZNZ to Olpopongi Maasai Village

ZNZ to Olpopongi Maasai Village

Arrival to Arusha Airport at around 9:00am and meet our representative followed by a drive to Olpopongi Village for an authentic cultural experience. Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted with traditional Maasai songs and dances, setting a vibrant tone for your visit. Then offered welcoming drinks as you are introduced to the village and its rich culture. The tour began with a stroll around the Maasai territory, where you will have the unique opportunity to observe giraffes, zebras, and gazelles up close while learning about the local medicinal practices. Following our nature walk, we enjoyed a delightful local lunch back at the bomas. The afternoon continued with a visit to the Maasai Museum, where we delved into the history and culture of the Maasai people. To conclude our visit, we shared Maasai tea in one of the traditional huts, engaging in captivating stories with the clan elders. Then at late evening your will drive to Arusha city for overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Taking off after breakfast (0800hr) our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon your arrival at the main gate official document for the safari will be handed out and you will start a game drive in the park. Tarangire National Park is one of the parks with high wildlife concentration in Tanzania. It is believed to have the largest elephant concentration in the world surrounded with large trunks of Baobab tree with more than 100 feet circumference. The park also has few Tree-climbing lions, leopards and pythons who frequently hide in the branches of sausage trees and other tree species in the park to get better view of their preys. After Picnic lunch you will proceed with a spectacular game drive then later you will transfer to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Karatu to Ngorongoro

Karatu to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, collect your packed lunch boxes and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive down the crater floor. Ngorongoro crater is a deep volcanic crater with about 200kms across, 600 m deep and 300sq kms in area, this caldera is a breathtaking natural wonder and it is listed as one of the 8th Wonder of the World by UNESCO and listed as a protected area in world heritage site. Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls, you have a good chance of spotting, The Big 5‟: i.e Lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Within the Protected are they villages are of Maasai who are allowed to coexisted with animals under sanction rules by the Government. Later drive to Karatu overnight stay.

(06:00h) Early in the morning before breakfast (packing breakfast box is optional), as you depart for hunting with Hadzabe tribe(bushmen) and learn and experience their lifestyle and culture as they will share their hunting techniques, honey harvesting and fire making. Then return to the lodge for breakfast followed by packing for check out. Later, in the afternoon you will have Lunch at the hotel (Packing lunch box is optional) then a visit to Datoga black smith village for cultural tour and departure to Arusha (4 hours drive).
