Arrival and traveling to Mgahiga national Park

After breakfast at the hotel or upon arrival at the airport, we will embark on a scenic drive to Mgahiga National Park in southern Uganda. Along the way, we will enjoy a leisurely stop and a delicious lunch. Upon reaching the park, we will check into our comfortable lodge and savor a delightful dinner before resting for the exciting activities that await us the following morning.

Gorilla trekking in Mgahiga

After a leisurely breakfast, we will make our way to the park headquarters for a briefing on the gorilla trekking guidelines. Once prepared, we will set out on a guided trek through the verdant rainforest.

Encountering the gorillas, we will have the extraordinary chance to watch and learn from them for an hour. Subsequently, we will head back to the lodge for a well-earned lunch, followed by dinner and time to unwind.

An unforgettable experience awaits with Gorilla Trekking: the park is among the rare places on earth where one can witness the majestic mountain gorillas in their native environment. Additionally, Mgahinga forms a part of the Virunga Volcanic Mountains, providing stunning vistas of these dormant volcanoes.
