After breakfast, you will head west, passing Mount Longonot and continuing via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at the camp or lodge in time for lunch. The afternoon will be at your leisure, with optional activities such as a visit to a Maasai Cultural Village or a walking safari guided by Maasai warriors (morans) through the expansive African savannah. This experience allows you to learn about medicinal plants used by the Maasai and observe how they coexist with wildlife within the Mara ecosystem.
The Masai Mara National Reserve, locally known as "the Mara," is a vast game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, adjoining Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Named in honor of the Maasai people—its ancestral inhabitants—the word "Mara" in Maa (the Maasai language) means "spotted," aptly describing the landscape, dotted with trees, shrubs, savannah, and cloud shadows.

Alternatively, you may opt for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes, exploring areas such as the Mara River and the Kenya/Tanzania border, which offers an excellent chance to spot the "Big Five."
