Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, rejoin your driver/guide and depart for the Rift Valley arriving for lunch at a Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing & bird watching.

Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos. It is also a Rhino sanctuary. You embark on a game drive which includes a walk on the shores of the lake to view flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Leopard or the Tree climbing lions of this park. The afternoon game drive is included and you will return to your lodge as the sun sets. Dinner and Overnight at Elementaita sentrim lodge.

Day 2

After breakfast commence drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Masai mara national reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective Camp / Lodge. Afternoons spend at Leisure, with optional activities, e.g Visit Masai Cultural Village or take a Walking safari, flanked by Masai warriors (Morans), in the middle of the rolling African savannah takes you through an experience of learning the medicinal plants that the Masais use and how they mutually co-exist with wildlife in the Mara ecosystem.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve (also known as Masai Mara and by the locals as the mara) is a large game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Mara Region. It is named in honor of the Maasai people (the ancestral inhabitants of the area) and their description of the area when looked at from afar: Mara, which is Maa (Maasai language) for "spotted", an apt description for the circles of trees, scrub, savanna, and cloud shadows that mark the area.

Day 3

Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Maasai Mara Game Reserve

The early morning calm air of the Masai Mara has made possible the introduction of Hot Air Balloon flights, available as an optional tour of a hot air balloon ride to see the park from a bird's eye view, from leading lodges and camps in the reserve. (Please reserve early to avoid disappointment for this adventure). Pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve, a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve. After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for late morning breakfast. Lunch and late afternoon Game viewing drive.

Option: A full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes (full day game drive including visits to Mara River, Kenya Tanzania Border Post and a great chance to view the "Big Five". You will have picnic lunch at Hippo Pool. Return to your lodge late in the afternoon). Later just relax or visit the nearby Maasai village as an optional excursion.

Day 4

Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha

Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast at Mara Simba Lodge, we will commence drive to lake Naivasha arriving for lunch at a Lodge. In the afternoon there is an activity called boat ride and crescent island.

Lake Naivasha is surrounded by stands of papyrus and is a bird-watchers paradise. Waterbirds exist in great variety and abundance and over 400 birds have been recorded on the lake. Fish eagles and ospreys, herons and egrets, lily-trotters, red-knobbed coots and black crakes can be found within the area of this beautiful lake, which also supports around 500 resident hippos and introduced sport fish including the Nile perch, the North American red swamp crayfish and various aquatic plants.
