Arrival at Vilanculos Airport and a friendly resort representative will be waiting to greet you. From here it is a 20-minute road transfer to the boat dock area at the beach and then a 1-hour boat ride to the island. A boat transfer from Vilanculos to Bazaruto Island offers a scenic and exciting way to begin your stay on one of Mozambique's most stunning islands. During the transfer, there’s a good chance of spotting marine life, including dolphins, turtles, and even whales (in season).

Upon arrival at Anantara Bazaruto, you will be greeted by the attentive staff. You’ll be offered a refreshing welcome drink as you take in the stunning views of the island.
