Day 1

Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park

Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park

After an early morning breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up and you will hit the road to Kibale National Park. This 5-6 hours journey will get you reaching Kibale National Park in the afternoon with a stopover at Fort Portal town for lunch. Upon arrival in Kibale National Park, you can opt to go for a community walk or visit the beautiful crater lakes region for a spectacular view, then return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will head to park head quarters at 8 am for a briefing on the rules and regulations of chimpanzee tracking. Kibale National Park has the greatest concentration of primates in East Africa with chimpanzees being the most famous. The trek takes about 2-4 hours and during this time you will have the opportunity to see various primates, bird species and other animals. If you get across any chimpanzee, you will have one hour in their presence. After the trekking, you will head back to the accommodation for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, you will hit the road to Queen Elizabeth National Park reaching late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Game drive and Boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Game drive and Boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up and you will embark on a game drive where you will have a closer look at lions, elephants, buffalos, and Ugandan kob among others. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for lunch and later afternoon go for a boat cruise at the Kazinga channel. The 42km Kazinga Channel joins Lake Edward and Lake George and offers a high concentration of hippos and birds. After the boat cruise, you will go back to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for breakfast and get ready for your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This 5-6 hour journey will have you arriving in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon, having lunch and relaxing at your lodge, or opting to go for a community walk.

Day 5

After an early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters where you will join other trekkers for a briefing on the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. You will then get into the thick forest to start your trekking experience with a ranger who will lead you through. The trekking takes about 2-6 hours and if you come across a gorilla family, you will have one hour in their presence, you will be surely amazed by how these primates and humans have a lot in common. You will return to the accommodation for lunch and then set off to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.
