Day 1

Upon arrival at the airport or pickup at your hotel, you'll meet the safari guide of Mugenyi Eco-Tours, who will brief you about the safari.
Later, you will embark on a scenic drive to Fort Portal via mityana mudende, the main town in the Toro region of western Uganda, passing through the charming towns of Mityana and Mubende.
Along the way, you'll take a break to stretch your legs and enjoy some refreshments and snacks.
Did you know? Fort Portal is strategically located at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains, making it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area.
You'll check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you'll take a leisurely walk to the top of the world, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. You'll then return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest.

You'll enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, both of which Uganda is renowned for.
Then, you'll embark on your adventure to Semuliki National Park. You'll explore the park's enchanting forests, including the famous Sempaya Hot Springs. You'll explore the hot springs and discover their natural medicinal benefits.
This unique ecosystem is home to primates like the red-tailed monkey and boasts over 300 bird species.
After a delicious lunch at the lodge, you'll venture into the nearby community for a fascinating walk among the area's distinctive rock formations. A mysterious underground adventure unveils the mystery of the Amabere Caves, a hidden gem near Fort Portal. These limestone caves, known locally as "breasts of the motherland," are home to a diverse array of wildlife, particularly bats that have made their roosts within the cavernous formations.

After your breakfast, you'll drive to the park headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable for a gorilla briefing. Later, you'll walk in the forest. Once the gorillas are seen, you are given 1 hour to watch them, then lunch at the lodge. Later in the evening, you'll have a Batwa community walk, dinner, and an overnight stay at the lodge.
After a satisfying breakfast, you'll head to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters for a comprehensive briefing on gorilla trekking. Once you're prepared, you'll venture into the lush forest, carefully following your experienced guides. Upon encountering a gorilla family, you'll have the incredible opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures for an hour.
After a memorable encounter, you'll return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, you'll immerse yourself in the local culture with a captivating Batwa community walk. You'll conclude your day with dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the lodge.

You'll take a break en route to savor a refreshing local lunch, immersing yourself in the authentic flavors of Ugandan cuisine.
You'll arrive in Kampala in the evening. You'll conclude your memorable safari.
