Arusha - Tarangire

You will be picked up from your hotel or one of Kilimanjaro's or Arusha's airports and driven to Tarangire National Park for a day game drive, taking your picnic lunch boxes en route. In the evening, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park famous for its elephant migration, birding, and quiet and authentic safari atmosphere. Also known as the "Baobab Capital of the World", Tarangire is home to majestic trees that give you a screensaver background as the sun rises and sets on them.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro for the game drive in the crater. The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20 kilometers across, 600 meters deep, and 300 square kilometers in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Many flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds can usually be seen here. Transfer to Serenity Camp inside Serengeti National Park in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early, check out of the hotel, and grab your breakfast as we go. Embark on a drive back to Arusha, enjoying a game drive en route until late afternoon. Eventually, we reach our destination in the evening, where you will be conveniently dropped off at a hotel or the airport.
