Day 2

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park

You will have an early morning game drive between 6:00 and 9:00 am to catch up with the sunrise. A morning game drive is always the most rewarding since you will find that most animals are very active and fresh, looking for food for the day in the open savannah grassland. Return to your lodge for breakfast.

After breakfast, continue exploring Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems, including the swampy areas that attract hippos and a variety of waterbirds. The Observation Hill offers panoramic views of the park, allowing you to appreciate its vast beauty. The park has a variety of bird species, with 470 species recorded, many of which are migrants, with almost 60 species being raptors.

In the afternoon, return to the lodge for lunch. You can then visit a traditional Maasai village (optional activity). Here, you will learn about the Maasai people's unique culture, traditional dances, and way of life.
