Day 1

Unesco World Heritage Site

Take a scheduled flight through to Nampula from Johannesburg or Maputo (this flight is not included in the price but we can quote it separately for you). From Nampula Airport a friendly lodge representative will collect you and you will take a shared road transfer (2.5 hours) through to the northern part of Mozambique in an area called Mossuril Bay. There is also a boat ride (30-40 minutes) from Ilha De Mozambique to Coral Lodge.

The lodge accommodation is luxurious villas - each having an open plan lounge, private deck and have either lagoon or ocean views (depending on which villas you book with Safari365). The villas will have the most awesome sunset! So on your fist night in this paradise it will be totally memorable!

We have included dinner which is served on your private deck at no additional cost. We can also arrange for you to have a private dinner on the beach.

Day 2-5

Beach holiday

The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has 500 years of history. So along with a fantastic beach holiday with 3km of coral reef close by, there is also lots of historical buildings to see. In 1967 a 3.8km bridge was built joining Ila De Mozambique to the mainland of Mozambique.

You can enjoy a traditional dhow cruise, snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing in the lagoon, whale watching and dolphin sightings (seasonal), explore the magical island (complimentary daily return transfers to the island included), sundowners and visit baobab trees. Each villa also comes with a private sailor and butler.

Massages or body treatments are offered in the comfort of your villa, on the beach or by the pool. We also recommend a leisurely walk on the beach in the idyllic surroundings.

Day 6

Departure

After a delicious breakfast, one of the friendly lodge staff will take you by boat back to the mainland and then there is a road transfer back to Nampula for your onward journey.
