Day 1 Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park and Boating Safari

You'll be picked up from your hotel, airport, or ferry in Dar es Salaam and drive approximately 5.5 hours south to Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve). After lunch, embark on an afternoon boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you'll spot hippos, crocodiles, various birds, and animals like elephants and giraffes. Conclude your day with a stunning sunset over the river's floodplains. Overnight at Selous Mloka Safaris Lodge on a full-board basis.
