Windhoek to Namib-Naukluft Park (Sossusvlei)
We will pick you up from your hotel by 8:30 am and depart at 9:00 am, on the way to south to the world-famous Sossusvlei via the picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. You will then have a stopover at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of the Namib. You will have lunch at the Solitaire Oasis for your account and arrive at the lodge in the afternoon. This time of the day is extremely hot, so we recommend that you spend the day cooling off in the pool or be on your siesta in your room. An early rest is required as tomorrow you are expected to wake up early.

Namib-Naukluft National Park (Sossusvlei)
This morning you will be waken up very early for a fascinating excursion with your guide in the Namib-Naukluft National Park, normally setting off before sunrise to capture the dunes whilst the light is soft and shadows that you can notice the towering shapes and curves. This area boasts some of the highest free-standing sand dunes in the world. Your guide will give you an insight into the formation of the Namib Desert and its myriad of attractive creatures and plants that have adapted to survive these harsh environments. Once you have explored Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and surrounding dune fields. You'll then return to Dead Valley Lodge in the early afternoon and the late afternoon can be spent visiting Sesriem Canyon. Afterward, if you haven’t already done it on the previous day. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.

Namib-Naukluft National Park (Sossusvlei to Swakopmund
The fascinating drive today takes you northwest through the awesome and ever-changing desert landscapes of the Namib Naukluft National Park, including the impressive Gaub and Kuiseb canyons. You will meet the coast at the port town of Walvis Bay and then continue north to Swakopmund where you can enjoy the pleasant seaside location and cooler coastal air for your next two nights. There will be time this afternoon to explore the town and wander along the waterfront on foot, before heading off for dinner at a popular restaurant that specializes in locally harvested seafood.

This morning you will be off to Walvis Bay for your boat cruise to check in on time. You'll return to the waterfront after having the most awesome sightings for the marine wildlife. You might be lucky to spot the humpback whale. You will enjoy oysters, sparkling wine, trademark platters with delicious snacks, and locally brewed Namibia beer.
Here, you'll meet with your local guide for Sandwich Harbour, who take you on a breathtaking 4x4 ride towards the Sandwich Harbour to explore the stunning view where the sand and the sea meet. This drive will take you on a magnificent scenic drive along the Walvis Bay Lagoon and the salt mines. If you are lucky, you might spot some flamingos. You'll return to the waterfront. You'll meet with your private guide and return to Swakopmund from Walvis Bay after the most remarkable activities and the long day. You will freshen up for your dinner and the dinner is had at any of the local restaurants.

Departure
Today, on your return to Windhoek. You will pass by the marble and gold mines and visit Namibia's largest craft market in Okahandja, the administrative center of the Herero people. You will be dropped off at your accommodation in Windhoek just after lunch.
