Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

Pick-up from your Dar es Salaam accommodation or airport and drive to Nyerere National Park. Check in at Mloka Safari Lodge for lunch and a brief rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River, spotting crocodiles, hippos, and numerous bird species. After sunset, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Mikumi Game Drive

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park, with a picnic lunch provided. Explore diverse habitats including grasslands, forests, and riverbanks. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and an array of bird species. The game drive continues until sunset, after which you'll return to Mloka Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Nyerere to Mikumi National Park

After breakfast and check-out, start your journey to Mikumi National Park with a morning game drive en route. Travel through Mlandizi village, taking in the scenic views. Depending on your arrival time at Mikumi, you might enjoy an evening game drive to catch the sunset. Otherwise, check in at Camp Bastian Mikumi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountains

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel and drive to Udzungwa Mountains. Upon arrival and registration, begin your hike on the Sanje Route to explore the four-stage waterfalls. Udzungwa, a biodiversity hotspot, offers sightings of 11 primate species, including two endemic to the area, along with various plants, birds, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, and more. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
