Day 1 Iringa | Ruaha Game Drive

Today you will start with your departure from the hotel in Iringa town at around 8:00 am in the morning and then head to Ruaha National park. Upon arrival you will check-in at your accommodation for refreshment and later go for afternoon and sunset game drives to catch up with sights for wildlife species.
Later you will return to your booked accommodation for diner and overnight stay.

Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

On this day you will leave early morning at 06:30 am to go for sunrise game drives with breakfast taken within the bushes. After breakfast break, you will continue with game drives searching for wild animals around different locations of the park, expect to spot some predators like lions, cheetah, and large numbers of wild dogs plus numerous animals till lunch break.

Enjoy having your picnic lunch in the park as you take some rest and thereafter you will continue with the game drive till evening. Driving along the Great Ruaha River, expect to see animals which include but not limited to Buffaloes, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, greater and lesser kudu, sable and roan antelopes, different birds, plants and reptiles species. Return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Game drive in Ruaha national park

Early morning you will go for sunrise game drives with a breakfast break taken within the park. After breakfast, you will continue with a game drive searching for wild animals around different locations of the park till lunch break. After lunch and a little rest within the park, you will continue with the game drive till around 6everning and that will be the end of a full day of game drive. Animals and attractions you should expect to see include but are not limited to buffalos, giraffes, zebras, impalas, warthogs, elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs, different birds, plants, and reptile species.

Ruaha to Iringa

You will have a morning game drive till around 10:00 am, then you will be back to your accommodation for breakfast. You will continue with the game drive end route to exit the park so you will leave the accommodation with all your luggage for a morning game drive heading to the main entrance gate. You will continue to drive to Iringa town and arrive late afternoon to be dropped off at your hotel/house or your choice of place to stay.
