Mikumi National Park was established in 1964, it is the fourth largest park in the country covering an area of 3,230 sq. Kms. The Mkata River floodplain is an attractive point of the park where you can easily spot a large number of animals including elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, wild dogs, and impalas, and spot a rich number of bird species. It is 283 km from Dar es Salaam city via Morogoro route which takes approximately 4–5-hour drive making Mikumi a popular option for weekend visitors from the city, or for business visitors with limited time for Safari.

Full day Game drive at Mikumi national park and drive along Mkata river.
After breakfast, go for a full day game drive across the Mikumi National Park with packed lunch boxes to see various animals of the park. Morning after breakfast you will drive back to Dar es Salaam for Flight back home/ hotel for drop off.
