Zanzibar to Nyerere NP (Selous Game Reserve) for Game drive and animal sightings

Take the early morning short local flight over mainland Tanzania's landscapes, arriving at Nyerere National Park, formerly Selous Game Reserve, where the thrill of safari adventures awaits. Our team of driver and tour guide will be at Mtemere airstrip to greet and welcome you at 7:00AM. You will go for a picnic breakfast and then proceed to enjoy animal sightings and viewing during the safari game drive in the park in our safari jeep for the whole day.
Here you will see a lot of animals including elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, many antelopes, buffalos, and you might even see the endangered black rhino on a good day.
You will break for a hot picnic lunch in the afternoon and get some time to stretch a bit and rest. Then with our guide team, continue with afternoon game drives until sunset when you will drive to the lodge for diner, rest and overnight.

Boat Safari, Maasai village tour, and flight to Zanzibar

On this second day of your safari, you will wake up to a hot breakfast prepared by the lodge's excellent local chef. Afterwards you will drive to the Rufiji river for a Boat Safari. This should take up to 1 hour 30 minutes only. See hippos and crocodiles as you cruise with on the boat trip and lots of exotic tropical birds.
At around 11:00AM you will go for a cultural visit at the nearby Maasai village. Enjoy and participate in song and traditional Maasai dance.
Return to the lodge afterwards to refresh, relax, and wait for your lunch.
After lunch, you will relax and rest at the lodge until 3:00 pm before checking out to go to the airstrip for your scheduled return flight.
The flight leaves at 4:00PM and arrives in Zanzibar at 5:00PM.
On arrival in Zanzibar, our professional driver will pick you and drop you off at your selected hotel.
At all times our office will be in touch to ensure everything goes accordingly.
