Zanzibar to Nyerere NP (Selous) for Game drives and animal sightings

Kick off your journey as you take a short scenic flight over mainland Tanzania's landscapes, arriving at Nyerere National Park, where the thrill of safari adventures awaits. Our team of driver and tour guide will be at Mtemere airstrip to greet and welcome you. You will go for breakfast and then proceed to enjoy animal sightings and viewing during the safari game drives in the park in our safari jeep.
Here you will see a lot of animals including elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, many antelopes, buffalos, and you might even see the endangered black rhino on a good day.
You will break for a hot picnic lunch in the afternoon. Then with our guide team, continue with afternoon game drives until sunset when you will drive to the lodge for diner, rest and overnight.

Boat Safari and village tour

On this second day of your safari, you will wake up early and have tea, coffee at the lodge at 7:00AM. Afterwards you will drive to the Rufiji river for a Boat Safari. This should take up to two hours maximum. Return to the lodge afterwards to refresh and enjoy your hot breakfast.
At around 11:00AM you will go out for a walking tour of the nearby Mloka village to see how the locals live and enjoy the local culture. Return to the lodge afterwards to refresh, relax, and wait for your lunch.
After lunch, you will relax for sometime before checking out to go to the airstrip for your scheduled return flight. The flight leaves at 4:00PM and arrives in Zanzibar at 5:00PM.
On arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will pick you and drop you off at your selected hotel.
End of safari service.
