2-Day Zanzibar - Nyerere Park Flight Safari (Private)

Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) and Game Drive

Early morning pick up at your hotel in Stone Town Zanzibar City (additional fees may apply if hotel is outside stone town) and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight.
Take the short local flight over the stunning landscapes of mainland Tanzania. Arrive at Nyerere National Park, formerly Selous Game Reserve, at 7:00 am.
Our tour guide team will be there to greet you at the Airstrip.
After introductions and registrations, you will exit the Airstrip and start your full day of safari and game drives.
Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to see various animals, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, numerous antelopes, buffalos, and, on a fortunate day, you might even spot the endangered black rhino.
In the afternoon, you will take a hot picnic lunch break, allowing you to stretch your legs and rest. Afterward, you will continue your afternoon game drives until sunset. You will then drive to the hotel lodge for overnight stay.

Boat Safari, Masai Village Tour and Return to Zanzibar

Today you will start your morning with a delicious hot breakfast prepared by the lodge's skilled local chef.
After breakfast, you will visit the nearby Masai village, where you can enjoy and participate in traditional Masai songs and dances.
After the cultural visit, you will drive to the Rufiji River for a boat safari for approximately 1.5 hours. During this boat trip, you will have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles and various exotic tropical birds.
Return to the lodge for your lunch and rest after the Boat trip.
Following lunch, you can unwind at the lodge until 3:00pm. You will then check out and head to the airstrip for your scheduled return flight. The flight departs at 4:00pm and arrives in Zanzibar at 5:00pm.
Upon your arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will pick you up and take you to your selected hotel.
At all times, our office will remain in contact throughout your journey to ensure everything goes smoothly.
