After an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is also known as the home of tree-climbing lions and a bird paradise. More than 500 species are present in Lake Manyara, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these species in a single day.
Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Other animals that can be found here are giraffes, zebras, hyenas, buffaloes, hippos, elephants and wildebeests. Lunch will be served inside the park. After further exploration of the park, you will return to Arusha.
