Masai Mara Game Reserve

Your safari starts with a morning pick-up from JKIA Airport or your overnight hotel residence, after a short safari briefing enjoy a comfortable drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. On your way, stop-over at the Great Rift valley viewpoint for a panorama view of the escarpment, get a chance for a photo session, washrooms, and enjoy a cup of Kenyan coffee. Proceed on to Masai Mara, one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Check-in at your reserved lodge or camp and enjoy a sumptuous hot lunch followed by a brief relaxation.
Around 4 pm, head out for an afternoon game drive in this expansive reserve globally famous for its exceptional population of Big cats and the Great annual wildebeest migration from the Serengeti that occurs every year from July to October, also known as the 7th Wonder of the world. After the game drive, you will head back to the lodge by sunset for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara reserve full day exploration

Full day in this vast reserve. We leave our camp shortly after breakfast with picnic lunch. The Mara is the land of African legends: Lions are abundant in the park, as are the elephants and a wide variety of herbivores. Cheetah and leopard are regularly seen and, less commonly the rhino. Enjoy unhurried game viewing searching for the Big 5 and in case your safari falls from July to October, you get the privilege to witness the 7th wonder of the world, the annual wildebeest migration, especially the thrilling event of Mara river crossing where revenous crocodiles await them in great anticipation.
Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of a convenient accacia tree overlooking the endless plains. Your game drive continues until late afternoon when you head back to the camp in good time to refresh and attend to a well prepared dinner.
Note;-This day presents an option to explore the Mara in an early morning hot air balloon followed by a champagne breakfast in the wilderness at an extra cost.

Masai Mara National Reserve- Nairobi

Breakfast in Masai Mara is served from 6:30am followed by our 9:30am departure for Nairobi. We have an exciting drive through a now familiar route passing by the Great Rift valley while enjoying great scenery and beautiful landmarks including Mt. Suswa and Mt. Longonot. A brief stop for an early lunch and bathrooms is included. A Picnic or hot lunch stop is scheduled in Narok town or Mai Mahiu. We then proceed on to our Nairobi hotel or straight to the Airport arriving by sunset. This marks the end of our 3 days Masai Mara wilderness spectacle safari full of sheer excitement and great memories.
