Day 1

Boat trip to Bukavu

Boat trip to Bukavu

You will be picked up by our guide from your hotel in Gisenyi at 9:00 am. A meet and greet from our guide. We shall then head to Cyangugu as drop off from at the boarder of Goma and Gisenyi. Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Kivu for 3 hours to Bukavu. Lake Kivu is one of the African Great Lakes. It lies on the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, and is in the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift. Lake Kivu empties into the Ruzizi River.

You will then checkin into your hotel. You will rest and then wait for your dinner. During dinner our guide will come to brief you of your next day experience.

Day 2

Trek Gorillas

Trek Gorillas

You will arise at 5:30am and breakfast will be served at 6:00am. At 6:30 am we shall then head to the National park gate which is close to 1 hours drive. The normal trek takes 3-4 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. After the trek we shall return to the hotel. Enjoy the evening with a BBQ dinner and then you rest.

Day 3

Travel back to Goma

This our last day of the trip. You will arise at 6:00am. Have breakfast and we shall check out at 7:00am. We shall then head to the lake for a boat ride back to Goma. This will take like 2-3 hours and you will arrive in Goma. We shall then drop you off to your Hotel.
