Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your journey starts with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or airport. From Nairobi, you will drive approximately 4-5 hours to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your lodge or camp, where a delightful lunch awaits you. In the afternoon, you'll set out on your first game drive through Amboseli. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, which are often seen against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll also have the opportunity to spot lions, cheetahs, gazelles, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, and a variety of bird species. As evening approaches, you'll return to your lodge or luxury camp for dinner and an overnight stay, taking in the tranquil sounds of the African night.

Exploring Amboseli National Park

After a hearty breakfast, you'll embark on a full day of game drives in Amboseli. You'll spend your morning exploring different areas of the park, including the open plains and acacia woodlands. A visit to Observation Hill provides panoramic views of Amboseli’s diverse landscapes, including the marshes and swamps. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch or return to your lodge for a meal. In the afternoon, you will continue your game drive, discovering the park’s rich wildlife and varied habitats such as rocky thorn bush country and marshlands. After breakfast, you will check out of your Amboseli accommodation and drive approximately 2-3 hours to Tsavo West National Park. Upon arrival, you will begin your exploration of this vast park, known for its scenic savanna woodlands and diverse wildlife. You'll enjoy a game drive that may include sightings of lions, leopards, elephants, and numerous antelope species. Lunch will be served at your hotel in Tsavo West. In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay, immersing yourself in the park’s serene atmosphere.
