Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Early morning, after breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, you will be picked up by your private driver-guide, who will take you straight to Tarangire, which takes approximately 2 hours. Tarangire National Park is one of the largest parks in Tanzania and covers an area of 2,600 square kilometers. Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. It also has a mini-wildlife migration during the dry season, consisting of about 250,000 animals entering the park. With more than 300 strong herds of elephants, you will find big groups of buffalo and healthy populations of lions and leopards. There are wild dogs and rare antelopes such as gerenuk, plus more than 550 species of birds to spot throughout the year. You will have picnic lunch boxes where you will have them inside the park in the afternoon. After lunch and further wildlife viewing, you will drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Karatu to central Serengeti National Park
Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am, you will drive straight to Serengeti National Park passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue your journey around the crater and descend the other side, enjoying your free “African massage” on the bumpy road, passing through Maasai villages on your way to the Serengeti National Park. At the Naabi Hill entrance gate, you can walk to a viewpoint with spectacular views across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Hot lunch will be served either at the gate or en-route towards the heart of Serengeti with an incredible set up by your guide inside the bush. The Serengeti National Park is home to the largest concentration of wildlife than anywhere else on the planet. You will have an unlimited drive until in the evening where you will drive straight to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Central Serengeti to Ndutu for calving following the great migration
After breakfast we head towards the far south of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Ndutu.
Lake Ndutu is situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however, the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game.
After Lunch and an extensive game drive, we head for our Tented partner lodges for dinner and overnight.
You will spend 2 nights at Ndutu.

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
After early breakfast, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro crater and descend down which is almost 600m deep.
The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve which is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. The drive down the into the Crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the Crater floor, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the best
chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.
After Lunch and an extensive gamedrive inside the crater, we head for our comfort partner lodges in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Early morning after breakfast at, you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park which is also known as the home of Tree Climbing Lions and birds’ paradise. More than 500 species are present in Lake Manyara, and even for a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these species in a single day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Other animals that can be found here are giraffes, Zebras, hyenas, Buffalo, Hippo, elephants and wildebeests. Lunch will be served inside the park and after further exploration of the park you will return to Arusha. Those who wish to combine this safari with a trip to Zanzibar can take a flight from the local Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
