Central Serengeti
After breakfast, we head towards Serengeti National Park. We dedicate this whole day to exploring the Serengeti, the land of the Maasai, the local people who have inhabited this area for millennia. The Serengeti hosts the world's last great terrestrial migration, that of the wildebeest and zebra. This awe-inspiring circular pilgrimage from north to south to west and back again is season-dependent and passes through the terrain where we safari.
On our Serengeti safari, we hope to spot many creatures. After our picnic lunch, we continue to explore the park, and our guide, with his intimate knowledge of the terrain, will lead us to extraordinary landscapes where we will see abundant animals in their habitat.
As the adventurous day draws to a close, we go straight to our campsite for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

North Serengeti following the great migration
After breakfast, we head toward the far Northern Serengeti National Park. Good sightings of giraffes, plains game, herds of buffalos, and elephants can often be seen on the way. While the Serengeti boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for its annual great migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra and antelope, move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The precise timing of the migration depends upon the rainfall patterns each year. From the end of July to September, the migration can be found in the Northern Serengeti, where they cross the Mara River following the greener pastures of Masai Mara, providing the Mara River resident Nile crocodiles with an annual feast.
After lunch and an extensive game drive, we head to our campsite for dinner and overnight.

Central Serengeti
Starting your day after a heavy breakfast, today you will head south towards the central Serengeti. The drive south from the Mara River valley takes you through hill country, the Lobo area, woodlands, and then back into the Seronera terrain. The central portion of the Serengeti known as the Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. As you make your way into the Seronera region, you will begin to notice the hilly and broken terrain altering into plain grasslands. Here, one must look out for the many lion pride that thrive in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion prides provide an excellent game-viewing experience all year round. A picnic lunch will be done during the day-long drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
After breakfast, we hit the road to experience the wonderful Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Africa. More precisely termed a caldera, this is the best place for game viewing in Tanzania. An enclosed ecosystem, the caldera is home to some 25,000 large mammals.
Descending the bumpy, winding track toward the caldera floor, we note our passage through several different climactic zones until, 600m down, we roam out onto the broad expanse. We can expect to see buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, reedbuck, and Thomson's gazelle. We may spot predators like lions and cheetahs lounging in the grass or in action, and some of the more than 500 bird species that inhabit this area. With a little bit of luck, we might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass.
After our extensive game drive within the crater, we drive to your campsite for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, we hit the road to Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara, known for its namesake lake which covers some 70 percent of the park area, is famed for its tree-climbing lions. Our game drive takes us to the lakeshore where, whilst viewing the thousands of feeding flamingos, we can hope to spot monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees.
The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. Animals gather at the river and giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest are often seen. The park is also home to buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest, all of whom are closely attended by a range of predators like Simba the lion king and his cousin, the leopard.
After lunch and extensive game drive, we head back to Arusha.
