The shallow alkaline lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is a home to thousands of flamingos during the rain seasons. Guided Game drive - Central Serengeti National Park

Your safari will proceed to Central Serengeti where you will spend your 2 days chasing for Big 5 and other animals. The word Serengeti comes from the Maasai word "Siringet," which means “the endless plain.” The Central Serengeti is a year-round game viewing site that features a greater diversity of wildlife than anywhere in else in the park, including elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, reedbuck, buffalo and baboon (all of which remain even after the spectacular hordes of blue wildebeest and zebras have gone). The famous Serengeti National Park is the most well-known safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. Look out for the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass which provide ample shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna. After a full-day game drive, you will head back to your camp for evening leisure, dinner and your overnight stay.

Following Migration Trails- either Ndutu for Calving Season or Northern Serengeti for River Crossing

Depending on the location of Migrations these two days will give you the chances to explore and experiences it.
The experiences on this package will depend on the months you are travelling. Below is how the trip will be allocated as per migration locations:
December - March/April: Southern Serengeti plains (Ndutu)
See great herds of wildebeest and zebras. Along with the river crossings, this is a real highlight of the wildebeest’s journey and a fabulous time to see the herds congregate on the dramatic sweeping plains of the south. You will see the big herds all together as they always come south for calving season.

July - October: Northern Serengeti National Park (River Crossing) - annual migration of giant herds of grazers across Northern Tanzania and Kenya where over two million wildebeest, zebras and gazelles move through the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems in search of green pasture, in a regular pattern.
