Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. You will be given a short briefing on various aspects of your itinerary while at the hotel by our representative together with your driver guide.

Day 2

Tarangire national park

Tarangire national park

A well served breakfast in your place. Later your guide will pick you ready to start your life time experience. The safari will start at Tarangire national park, the park named after Tarangire River that crosses inside the park. The park is popular for its large elephant herds. Although Tarangire is a year round game Viewing Park but in the Dry season, between June and October, large herds of animals are attracted to the Tarangire River. This is the great time to see the animals in this park including the wildebeest, elephants, gazelles, zebras, buffaloes and hartebeest. Common animals in Tarangire are leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetah. After a wonderful game experience in this park, you will proceed to your lodge for some leisure and overnight.

Day 3-4

Serengeti National Park

Your safari will proceed to Central Serengeti where you will spend your 2 days chasing for Big 5 and other animals. The word Serengeti comes from the Maasai word "Siringet," which means “the endless plain.” The Central Serengeti is a year-round game viewing site that features a greater diversity of wildlife than anywhere in else in the park, including elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, reedbuck, buffalo and baboon (all of which remain even after the spectacular hordes of blue wildebeest and zebras have gone). The famous Serengeti National Park is the most well-known safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. Look out for the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass which provide ample shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna. After a full-day game drive, you will head back to your camp for evening leisure, dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5-6

Following Migration Trails- either Ndutu for Calving Season or Northern Serengeti for River Crossing

Depending on the location of Migrations these two days will give you the chances to explore and experiences it.
The experiences on this package will depend on the months you are travelling. Below is how the trip will be allocated as per migration locations:
December - March/April: Southern Serengeti plains (Ndutu)
See great herds of wildebeest and zebras. Along with the river crossings, this is a real highlight of the wildebeest’s journey and a fabulous time to see the herds congregate on the dramatic sweeping plains of the south. You will see the big herds all together as they always come south for calving season.

July - October: Northern Serengeti National Park (River Crossing) - annual migration of giant herds of grazers across Northern Tanzania and Kenya where over two million wildebeest, zebras and gazelles move through the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems in search of green pasture, in a regular pattern. Dinner and overnight at Camp.

Day 7

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will descend to the world famous Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing on its floor. Ngorongoro is thought to have formed about 2.5 million years ago from a large active volcano whose cone collapsed inward after a major eruption, leaving the present vast, unbroken caldera as its chief remnant. The crater has unique ecosystem that inhabit more than 25,000 resident animals. The Big Five animals can be spotted here.
Dinner and overnight will be served at your luxury accommodations.

Day 8

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast you will proceed with your game to Lake Manyara National Park, the famous for its tree climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakeshore. It is only 205sq miles in size, this park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees which are a home to troops of baboons and blue monkey. The shallow alkaline lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is a home to thousands of flamingos during the rain seasons. Later you will drive back to Arusha and proceed to airport for your depart back home or extension to Zanzibar.
