2-Day Mokoro Overnight Experience

• You'll be collected from the airport.
• Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

Arrival and Transfer

The day before your safari, a meet and greet will be done where a full in-person briefing will be given and any requests/queries shall be attended to.
In the morning, you'll depart from Maun from the hotel/lodge to the Mokoro gate station game will be seen en route. This is an approximately 1hr 50min drive. Upon arrival, you'll meet our polers and be designated the mokoro boats will be using for our excursion.
A stopover shall be done for our late breakfast.
In the afternoon, you'll navigate the channels of the mighty Okavango Delta on Mokoro and have a stop at an island where the crew will set up the camp. You'll have lunch while the crew is erecting the tents and after that have a siesta time until 3 pm. You'll do your bush walk then continue gliding through the Okavango.
You'll arrive at your camping site where you'll settle in and freshen up for a night along the Okavango river listening to nature.
In the evening, you'll enjoy your dinner, and chat the night away with the polers.

Last Day of Exploration

You'll wake up at around 6:00 am and have a cup of coffee. You will take a guided walk into the wild for approximately 1 hour 30 min, likely to spot good game like elephants, zebras, antelopes, etc. You'll return to the camp and have your breakfast while the crew is taking down the camp. You will then be transferred by Mokoro back to the station where your vehicle will be waiting to take you back to either the airport or your place of accommodation. The drive is approximately 1 hour and 50 mins.
