Explore Serengeti National Park for a Full Day

You will have a full day to explore the Serengeti with a flexible schedule and unlimited mileage. As you crest the hillside, the vast Serengeti unfolds before you; its name means "endless plains" in Kiswahili. Covering 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers), this park is home to over 2 million animals, including a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. The abundance of prey attracts large predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, while smaller creatures such as rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares also thrive here.

With nearly 500 bird species, the Serengeti is a wildlife haven. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive en route to your accommodation, where you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservancy Area

We recommend rising early to embark on a game drive when the animals are most active and to witness one of the most stunning sunrises you will ever see (with an optional balloon safari). After the drive, return to your accommodation for a delicious brunch before heading to Ngorongoro, often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. Spanning 102 square miles with 2,000-foot-high walls, this crater is like a natural Noah's Ark, home to nearly every species indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the few places on the continent where you might see the elusive black rhino. The crater features a river, several swamps, a soda lake with flamingos, a forest, and expansive plains. It's renowned for its enormous elephants with impressive tusks.

You will arrive at your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay to relax.
