Day 1

Here, you will have your breakfast early morning and the company driver-guide will pick you up at 8:00am and give you a briefing about the safari. You will head for the city tour where you will have chance to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial.

After that, you will embark on a 6hours’ drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Along the way, you will get a stopover and have a lunch meal. Then proceed with the journey. When you arrive at the park, you will check-in to your lodge for refreshment as you wait for dinner.

Early morning after your breakfast, you will head to the starting point for chimpanzee tracking. You will be briefed on what to do during the tracking. Later on after the tracking, you will head back to the lodge for lunch.

Then you will go for the afternoon canopy walk which is an amazing experience where you get chance to view the forest at an elevated level, here you can also spot some beautiful birds. Then you will head back to the lodge for refreshment as you wait to be served dinner.

Day 3

Early in the morning after having your breakfast, the driver-guide will pick you up at 8:00am and you checkout of the lodge. You will embark on a 6hours’ drive to Volcanoes National Park. Here you will have chance to take pictures of beautiful scenery along the journey.

You will have a stopover for a lunch meal then continue with your journey to the park. On arrival, you will check-in to the respective lodge for refreshment as you wait to be served dinner.

This is a big forest, which is home to almost half of the world’s gorilla population. On arrival, you will check-in to the respective lodge and have refreshment as you wait to be served dinner.

Day 5

You will have your breakfast early in the morning, and then you will checkout out of the lodge with your packed lunch. The guide will lead you to the offices where the starting point for the trekking is. Here you will be given guidelines to follow during the hiking. The whole activity will take about 4 to 5 hours depending on the far the gorilla family you are located to be.

After your return, you will embark on a 1.5hours’ drive to Lake Bunyonyi, which is Uganda’s deepest lake. This lake has stunning views, which you will enjoy and take pictures of the beautiful landscape of the area. You will then check-in to the respective lodge for refreshment as you wait to be served dinner.

Here you will have an evening game drive and possibly, you may be able to spot the tree-climbing lions. After your breakfast in the morning, the guide will pick you up, take you for a game drive, and search for the animals in their natural habitat. Here you will be able to spot very many animals including lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, kobs, antelopes, among others. You will also be able to spot some bird species. After that, you will go back to the lodge and have lunch.

After some little rest, you will go for the Launch Cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You will be able to spot so many hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. You will also see animals like elephants taking some water along the riverbanks. Then you will go back to your lodge for refreshment as you wait to be served dinner.

Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will be picked up by the guide and embark on a 3hours’ drive to Kibale Forest national park. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. On arrival in the park, you will go and visit the Bigodi Swamp, which is habitat to so many bird species.

Then you will go and check-in to your respective lodge and have some refreshment. Then later on in the evening you will go for a guided community walk and you will be able to see how people in that area conduct themselves, you will also learn about their cultural ways of living.

If possible, you will also visit the Uganda National Cultural Centre where you will be able to visit many crafts shops and you can purchase some of the hand-made crafts to take home. In so doing, you are supporting the local people within the country.
