Travel to the Volcanoes National Park

We set off from Kigali town for the Volcanoes National Park. Depending on the personal plan from you, we kick start the tour with the Kigali city tour of the Genocide memorial, commercial area of the city and the uptown government section of Kigali. Check out and drive to the Volcanoes National Park via Ruhengeri.

Lunch is en-route with bottled water or a soft drink like a soda. If we arrive early before sunset, we head for the evening Iby'iwacu cultural visit show casing the Rwanda king and palace activities.

Head back to our lodge for dinner and accommodation.

Gorilla tracking & transfer to Kigali

We wake up by 6 in the morning, refresh, prepare our selves and have our breakfast. The driver will be ready to pick you up from your hotel by 7am in the morning and drive to the Gorilla tracking briefing area.

Get some facts before the trek, how to behave when you find the Gorillas and what to do when one Gorilla gets up close. Drive off to the starting point of the trek, with your driver keeping behind till when you return. It could take a full day or even a couple of hrs before seeing the gentle giants.

Return to your vehicle and head back to Kigali.
