Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up from the airport (Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport) and drive you to your accommodation. You'll be briefed and get ready for the upcoming safari. If time allows, you can explore the vibrant spots of the city, such as the Cultural Heritage Centre, Maasai, or local markets, and even canoeing at Lake Duluti.

Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Today's safari begins when the guide will pick you up from your hotel at 8 am after you have finished your breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, arriving around 10 am. Upon arrival at the park's gate, you'll check in and start the game drive. Tarangire National Park is famous for the thousands of elephants that come down to the park during the dry season in search of water. Still, plenty of other wildlife species roam the park such as wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, lions, leopards, etc. The park is also a great birding destination, with over 500 species living in Tarangire. During the game drive, you'll enjoy lunch at the Matete picnic site, overlooking the Tarangire River. After lunch, you'll proceed with the game drive until the evening when you exit the park and drive to your accommodation.

Following breakfast today at 8 am, you will drive 20 mins to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. After check-in at the park's gate proceed with the game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is home to 400 bird species, and it is a paradise for bird enthusiasts. The park also contains water buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, wildebeests, and the world's largest concentration of baboons. Occasionally, you can spot the tree-climbing lions that the park is famous for. Lunch will be enjoyed at the picnic site in the afternoon, before proceeding with the game drive. After the game drive, you will exit the park and drive back to your accommodation.

After enjoying your tasty breakfast, at 8 am you'll begin your journey to Lake Natron, traveling through one of Tanzania's most picturesque landscapes. Along the way, you’ll pass Maasai villages dotting the arid plains, with herds of livestock grazing. This journey will last for about 3-4 hours before arriving for lunch and resting before going out to enjoy the views and other activities. Lake Natron is home to ancient hominid footprints, the largest breeding ground for lesser flamingo, and Mt. Ol Doinyo Lengai, the only active carbonatite volcano in the world.

After breakfast, you'll depart Lake Natron and drive towards Northern Serengeti, arriving in time for lunch and an evening game drive. Travelers who make it to this corner of the Serengeti will be rewarded with gorgeous landscapes of green rolling hills, granite outcrops and acacia woodlands dotting open savannah, incredible wildlife, and most importantly, massive herds of wildebeest and zebras making the dangerous crossing of the croc-infested Mara River during the great migration in June and July and again in September, October, and November. This sector of the park is also home to the greatest concentration of elephants in the Serengeti, as well as good numbers of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas and diverse resident animals such as giraffes, topi, eland, and hippos. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your accommodation nestled inside Northern Serengeti.

Today, you'll have an early breakfast and drive out to enjoy a sunrise game drive in Northern Serengeti when most animals are more active. Afterward, you'll proceed with the game en route to Central Serengeti, arriving in the evening for the late game drive. The Central part of Serengeti is also referred to as the Seronera area and is popular among tourists on safari in the national park. It is home to many wildlife species including lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, hippos, and many more. After enjoying your sunset game drive in Central Serengeti, you'll drive to your accommodation inside the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, you will wake up early around 6:30 am, and have breakfast. Afterward, you will set out for an early morning or sunrise game drive with our experienced guide. This is a perfect time to witness animals when they are most active, especially predators such as lions and leopards. Most predators prefer this time due to less heat, as the sun hasn't risen yet. Our expert guide will take you to different parts of the park encountering incredible wildlife at every turn. As the afternoon approaches, you will pause for lunch in the wilderness before proceeding with an en-route game drive towards Ngorongoro Highlands for your overnight stay and dinner.

Early in the morning after breakfast around 6:30 am, you'll leave the lodge and descend the Crater. You'll enjoy an incredible 5-6-hour game drive inside this world heritage site. As you descend the crater, be prepared to be amazed by its breathtaking landscape and beauty. Ngorongoro is home to an extraordinary array of wildlife, including the legendary Big Five animals (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos). With our experienced guide, you will set out to witness these animals, especially the rare and difficult-to-find black rhinos. In the afternoon, you will pause for lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site, inhabited by a bloat of hippos and offers panoramic views of the crater. After lunch, you will explore the park. Later, you'll ascend the crater and return to your overnight accommodation in Arusha, filled with memories of the extraordinary safari experience.
