Your safari adventure kicks off today! You'll be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and taken to the airport for a one-hour flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at Arusha Airport and drive you to Tarangire National Park, about two hours away.

Known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers stunning views of swamps, savannas, and the Tarangire River, home to a rich array of wildlife. After your game drive, you'll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll journey to Ngorongoro Crater, often regarded as one of nature's greatest wonders. Home to over 120 species, including the Big Five, it's a prime spot to see the endangered black rhino grazing peacefully and hippos cooling off in the water.

From your open-top vehicle, you can capture stunning photos of Africa's iconic wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as herds of wildebeests, zebras, and buffaloes. After a thrilling day, enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then continue your game drive before returning to Heart and Soul Lodge for the night.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel for a two-hour drive to Materuni village, nestled in lush tropical rainforests with stunning views of the city. Here, you’ll explore the rich cultural heritage of the Chagga people, including tasting banana beer and traditionally roasted coffee. You can even participate in the coffee-making process. After a scenic hike, enjoy a refreshing swim in the waterfall pool. Lunch options include dining by the waterfalls or hot springs.
