Arusha – Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8;00am and take you to a very special safari park in Tanzania. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The Tarangire safari park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, African elephants. In fact, Tarangire has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

Tarangire National Park – Ndutu Area
Today breakfast drive to Southern Serengeti (Ndutu area where the migration should partly be) in Ngorongoro (it take 3 hours) and enjoy the wildlife. The endless plains of Serengeti are also the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the 1.5 million wildebeest endless migration in search for fresh pastures Each year this huge herd of wildebeest (along with over 200,000 zebra and gazelle) migrate in a clockwise direction around the Serengeti, up to the Masai Mara in Kenya and then back down to the Serengeti to have their young (over 1000 wildebeest are born a day between Late December and mid March). Each year they migrate over 2,500km and are constantly threatened and followed by some of Africa’s greatest predators. Depending on the season of your visit, your driver guide will be able to share with you where the herd’s current location is at Ndutu.

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
In this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. It’s really one of the most beautiful experiences to have. After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we’ll proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually a Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The concentration of African wildlife if the greatest in the continent. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, we descend back into the crater for an early morning game drive, hoping the cool morning air allows for us to see some active wildlife. As the temperatures rise, we may head to the hippo pool to see these spectacular creatures enjoying a dip to beat the heat. As lunch approaches, we make our way to the picnic site on the lake, taking in the spectacular views and a bite to eat before you head out on the final game drive. After our last glimpse of the park, we head towards the crater rim to make the journey back to Arusha for the evening.
