Arusha – Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 am and take you to a special safari park in Tanzania. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with 9 different vegetation zones. Tarangire National Park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent), which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them.
The river of the park attracts wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, African elephants. In fact, Tarangire has the largest concentration of elephants in the country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families.
In the afternoon, we will do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

Tarangire National Park – Ndutu Area
After breakfast, drive for 3 hours to the Southern Serengeti (the Ndutu area where the migration should partly be) in Ngorongoro and enjoy the wildlife. The endless plains of Serengeti are also the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the 1.5 million wildebeest endless migration in search of fresh pastures.
Each year, huge herds of wildebeest (along with over 200,000 zebra and gazelle) migrate in a clockwise direction around the Serengeti, up to the Masai Mara in Kenya and then back down to the Serengeti to have their young. Over 1,000 wildebeest are born a day between late December and mid-March. Each year, they migrate over 2,500km and are constantly threatened and followed by some of Africa’s greatest predators. Depending on the season of your visit, your driver guide will be able to share with you where the herd’s current location is at Ndutu.

Ndutu Area – Serengeti National Park
Today, you will have a half-day game drive in Ndutu and then proceed to Serengeti National Park, the world’s last great wildlife refuge. It contains an estimated 3 million large animals, most of which participate in a seasonal migration, one of nature’s wonders. The area covers 14,763 sq km, and the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai "Siringet", meaning endless plains.

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Today, we suggest a very early wake-up to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. It’s really one of the most beautiful experiences. After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch. We'll then proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World.
The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2,000-ft high walls, making it virtually a Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the rare locations on the continent where you can witness the black rhino. The concentration of African wildlife is the greatest in the continent. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants, the largest in the world, with huge tusks.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, we descend back into the crater for an early morning game drive, hoping the cool morning air allows us to see some active wildlife. As the temperatures rise, we may head to the hippo pool to see these spectacular creatures enjoying a dip to beat the heat.
As lunch approaches, we make our way to the picnic site on the lake, taking in the spectacular views and a bite to eat before we head out on the final game drive. After our last glimpse of the park, we head towards the crater rim to drive back to Arusha for the evening.
This is the end of this 6-day luxury safari in Tanzania.
