Wake up to the sounds of nature and a beautiful sunrise. After a continental breakfast, start your adventurous full-day exploration of Tsavo West National Park from Taita Hills. With a picnic lunch, access the park through Maktau gate and embark on a game drive.

Look out for the “red elephants” of Tsavo, kudus, giraffes, gerenuks, oryx, zebras, buffalos and gazelles. An opportunity to spot a pride of lions, immortalised as the "man-eaters" of Tsavo, leopards, or wild dogs may present itself. Enjoy lunch by Mzima Springs, a clear, sparkling natural spring fed by underground streams that formed underneath a porous volcanic plateau.
