Day 1

Arush to Tarangire

After breakfast in the morning, you will transfer from Arusha City to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is a 2.5-hour drive from Arusha City. The hilly savannah together with the Tarangire River makes this the favorite park for large herds of elephants. During the dry season (June – October), the Tarangire River is the only source of water available, making it a popular spot not just for the elephants but a variety of small hoofed animals and an abundance of birdlife. Lions, warthogs, giraffes, zebras, and monkeys all roam the park, waiting for the ‘perfect picture’ opportunity.

Today, you will move from the hotel in Karatu and ahead to the Serengeti National Park. You will explore the surroundings of a well-known phenomenon; the yearly crossing of the migration. Depending on the rainfall and your travel dates, you may have the opportunity to witness this spectacle of nature. In this expansive landscape, watered by several rivers, the game is there for viewing in large numbers. You are highly likely to cross paths with giraffes, hippos, elands, and elephants.

Enjoying the sunrise Today you will have a full long day drive ahead of you to central Serengeti. Along the drive, you will be able to spot giraffes, zebras, and other animals. Prepare to be amazed when you catch your first glimpse of the endless plains of the Serengeti. Day 4

We`ll have an early breakfast and short farewell game drive in Serengeti National Park. Along the drive, you will be able to spot giraffes, zebras, and other animals. In the afternoon we will be on our way to Ndutu Area, Ndutu is a very beautiful region and rich in wild animals. In addition, it is the only nature reserve in Tanzania where you are allowed to drive off-road. This allows you to get very close to the animals. Many predators are attracted by the calving happening here and roam this vast plain: lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! Wildebeests, zebras and gazelles come here to give birth to their calves.

Day 5

Ndutu area

Ndutu is a very beautiful region and rich in wild animals. In addition, it is the only nature reserve in Tanzania where you are allowed to drive off-road. This allows you to get very close to the animals. Many predators are attracted by the calving happening here and roam this vast plain: lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! Wildebeests, zebras and gazelles come here to give birth to their calves. December to March is the calving season when the wildebeest and zebra give birth to their offspring and you will likely see a live birth. This is also an excellent time to see predator action as lions and leopards prey on the young and vulnerable calves. After a full day of enjoying Ndutu Area you will spend the night inside the Camp.

After an early breakfast our tour guide driver will pick up you and depart to Ngorongoro for a short farewell game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the natural wonders of Africa it constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, with the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos and many varieties of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. After a day in the Ngorongoro Crater, your driver guide will transfer you to Arusha.
