Lilongwe to Viphya

We'll start our journey from Lilongwe today heading North to Viphya Plateau. We'll stop for a picnic lunch en-route and arrive around mid-afternoon to enjoy the walking trails and dam, horse riding can also be booked for this afternoon or the next morning.

Viphya to Livingstonia

We'll continue our journey northwards, stopping in Mzuzu at a restaurant or cafe of your choice for lunch and then continuing to Livingstonia. Arrive around mid afternoon and settle into the mountain vibes of Mushroom Farm. Your meals aren't included here during your stay, but Mushroom farm have an extensive vegetarian and Vegan Menu locally grown available to choose from during your stay.

Explore Livingstonia

Livingstonia to Chintheche

We'll make our way down the mountain and on to the shores of Chintheche, we'll stop at a restaurant of your choice on the way down for lunch and then arrive at Makuzi Beach around mid/ late afternoon. No meals are included today but Makuzi has a restaurant you can order from during your stay.

On the Lake

A full day with Makuzi. Your guide is available to organise short excursions in the area, there are fishing villages and water based activities. The bird life is also incredible in this area, or you can relax on the sandy white shores and enjoy the solitude. Your stay here doesn't include any meals, but Makuzi does have a menu you can order off and pay direct during your stay.

Beach to the Bush

We'll depart Makuzi at a leisurely time, it's a short 1-2 hour drive to Nkhotakhota - Arrive in time for lunch and an activity can be organized for the afternoon. Walking and game drives are a popular choice for the area. Or you can spend some time wandering the multiple paths in Rafiki Camp by the river. Night here including dinner, bed and breakfast.

Back to Lilongwe

Depart Nkhotakhota today and we make our way back around to Lilongwe. There a few interesting stops en-route such as Salima and Senga Bay, Kuti Wildlife Reserve or interesting points in Lilongwe itself. Your driver will take you to your residence and end of services.
