Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the early morning, you will depart from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha and head towards Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. In the afternoon, you will pause for a picnic lunch amidst the park's stunning scenery. After lunch, the adventure continues with more wildlife sightings until the evening. You will then exit the park and proceed to your lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is often referred to as the "Playground of Elephants" due to its large elephant population. During the dry season, the park becomes a haven for buffalos, lions, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. Along the shores of Lake Barungi, a variety of mammals gather to drink, while bird enthusiasts will be delighted by sightings of species such as kingfishers, hoopoes, and the white-bellied go-away bird. The park’s landscape features rolling savannahs, acacia woodlands, and the iconic baobab trees.
