Antananarivo - Andasibe National Park

Today, after your breakfast, we are going to Andasibe, east of Antananarivo. On the road, we will visit the Peyreiras reserve, a reptile park where you will see different types of chameleons, frogs, crocodiles, geckos, butterflies and lemurs. We will continue to Andasibe after the visit. When we arrive, we will check you into your hotels and be ready for a nighttime tour to see the lemurs, frogs and chameleons active at night.

Visit of Analamazaotra National Park

Today, enjoy a full day of visit of Analamazaotra National Park. The real draw of this reserve is the rare indri, Madagascar’s largest lemur, whose unforgettable wail can be heard emanating from the misty forest throughout the day, most commonly in the early morning. In addition to the indris, you may also see woolly lemurs, grey bamboo lemurs, red-fronted lemurs, black-and-white ruffed lemurs and diademed sifakas (one of the largest lemur species). In 2005 the Goodman’s mouse lemur was discovered here and identified as a distinct species. Eleven species of tenrec, the immense and colourful Parson’s chameleon and seven other chameleon species are also found here. Over 100 bird species have been identified in the park, together with 20 species of amphibian. The park is also home to the endemic palm tree Ravenea louvelii, found nowhere else on the island. In the afternoon, we are going to visit the Vakona reserve where you will see other lemurs and other animals as well.

Visit of Mantadia National Park

Today, we will drive to Mantadia National park. Enjoy a full day of visit of this primary forest, admiring many species of animals and plants. You will also see waterfalls in this amazing place. After the visit we will drive you to your hotel for overnight.

Andasibe - Palmarium Reserve

Today, we will continue our journey towards the Palmarium reserve on national road 2. When we are in Manambato, we will take a boat to travel on the Pangalanes canal to the reserve. Tonight we are going to see the famous AYE AYE from Madagascar. This nocturnal lemur has large eyes, prominent ears, and a long middle finger that it uses to tap on trees and find insects beneath the bark.

Palmarium Reserve - Antananarivo

Today, we will take the boat again from our hotel to Manambato, where our driver will be waiting for us to drive us back to the capital, Antananarivo. On the way, you will enjoy one more time the beautiful scenery of this part of Madagascar. Once we arrive, we will check in into your hotel for overnight.

Antananarivo - Ivato International Airport

Today, depending on the time of your international flight, we will visit the Queen's Palace, to learn a bit about Madagascar's history and monarchy. If we still have time, we will visit the handicraft market where you can buy some souvenirs to take home. We will take you to Ivato International Airport 2 hours before your departure.
