We'll pick you up from your hotel to begin a scenic journey through stunning land formations before heading into a game drive. The Lake Ndutu area, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem, is a key attraction. Although Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like many Rift Valley lakes, its water remains drinkable and supports a wide variety of wildlife. From December to April, the short-grass plains host the majority of the wildebeest migration, while elephants, birds, and resident game thrive in the area, offering a rich and diverse wildlife experience.

Rise and shine! After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a massive collapsed volcano that shelters over 25,000 mammals. Here, you’ll have the chance to encounter the iconic Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—along with spotted hyenas, elusive wild dogs, and some of the 500+ bird species found in the area. After a thorough game drive and a scenic picnic lunch, you’ll leave the caldera in the afternoon and head back to camp. Meals for the day include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
