Arusha to Miriakamba Hut 2500 Meters

From Arusha, you will travel to the Momella Gate through Arusha National Park, where you will have the chance to see a variety of wildlife.
As you hike through the lush forests, you'll be able to spot different animals such as, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffaloes, Baboons, Monkeys, Warthogs, among many more others while enjoying the stunning scenery.
After a steady climb, you'll reach Miriakamba Hut, located at approximately 2,500 meters, where you can settle in, relax, and enjoy dinner while taking in the beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

Miriakamba hut to Sadlle hut & Summit Attempt

Depart from Miriakamba Hut and trek to Saddle Hut, situated at about 3,570 meters. This part of the hike offers breathtaking views and diverse ecosystems. Upon reaching Saddle Hut, take some time to rest and acclimatize. Later in the evening, prepare for your summit attempt. You will start the trek to the summit of Mount Meru during the night, with the aim of reaching the top at 4,566 meters by sunrise. The experience of watching the sunrise from the summit will be unforgettable. After enjoying the views and capturing some photos, begin your descent back to Saddle Hut for a brief rest before continuing down.

Mt Meru's Summit to Arusha

On Day 3, you will begin your descent from Mt. Meru's summit to Saddle and Miriakamba Hut, and then continue down to the Momella Gate. Upon reaching the gate, you can celebrate your accomplishment and reflect on your incredible journey. Finally, you will transfer back to Arusha for your next adventure or departure.
