Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

At 05h00, your driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel, residence or the airport. Then start your journey to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular wildlife park. Watch the dawn break over the fields from the comfort of your safari vehicle. We’ll make a stop at the town of Narok for breakfast.

As we continue to the Mara, you’ll see local homesteads and perhaps Maasai herdsmen in their colorful wraps, tending to their cattle. We should arrive at the park at approximately 10h30 and will then immediately embark on a game drive. We will have lunch, dinner and our overnight stay at your Camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairob

After a leisurely breakfast at your camp, your dedicated driver-guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi, Kenya’s colorful capital city. On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano, a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s, and its
name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep
ridges".

You can opt to drive via Naivasha for lunch and excursions at an extra cost. Otherwise, you drive straight to Nairobi and pass by Kiambethu farm for the tea farm tour, which includes a 3-course buffet lunch (at an extra cost). You can also drive back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your return home.
