Day 1

Full-Day Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour & Chemka Hot Springs Adventure

You will be picked either at the airport if arriving early or from your hotel and head to Materuni Village, located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, take a short guided hike through the lush, green trails toward Materuni Waterfall passing through local Chagga farmland and enjoy panoramic views of Kilimanjaro (if weather permits). Arriving at the waterfalls you can take a refreshing dip in the natural pool at the base or simply enjoy the serene views. After the hike, visit a local Chagga family to experience a coffee-making demonstration. Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, roasted, and brewed using traditional methods. Its your time to grind your own coffee beans and taste freshly brewed coffee, roasted over an open fire.
Enjoy a traditional Chagga dishes like banana stew, beans, and pilau. Proceed to Chemka Hot Springs, to relax and swim in the crystal-clear, naturally heated waters. After spending a relaxing time you’ll head back to Arusha.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

The exciting moments starts on this day by driving along The Great Northern Freeway that passes across Masai steppe and villages toward Tarangire National Park. The park is a home to a large elephant population, iconic Baobab trees, and diversity of wildlife. The Park named after the Tarangire River that flows through it. The river attracts a lot of diverse animals and you will be able to spot a lot of elephants, giraffe, lions, antelope and Zebra. Other animals are wildebeest, gazelles, cheetahs and leopards, but also the seldom seen Kudu, Oryx and Gerenuk. Tarangire hosts more than 550 bird species which gives an opportunity for bird watching: brightly plumaged yellow necked spurfowls, white crowned shrikes and black necked weavers etc. are recorded here.
Before sunset, you will be taken back to your accommodation for an evening leisure and an overnight.

Day 3-4

Serengeti National Park - The endless Plains

Your safari will proceed to Central Serengeti where you will spend your fully time chasing for Big 5 and other animals. The word Serengeti comes from the Maasai word "Siringet," which means “the endless plain.” The Central Serengeti is a year-round game viewing site that features a greater diversity of wildlife than anywhere in else in the park, including elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, reedbuck, buffalo and baboon (all of which remain even after the spectacular hordes of blue wildebeest and zebras have gone). The famous Serengeti National Park is the most well-known safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. Look out for the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass which provide ample shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna. After a full-day game drive, you will head back to your camp for evening leisure, dinner and your overnight stay.

Another beautiful day in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti itself is a bucket-list destination with diversity of wildlife and one of the oldest national parks in Tanzania. Beside known for abundant wildlife, Serengeti if famously known for its annual great migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest; accompanied by large numbers of zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The precise location and timing of the migration are entirely dependent upon the rainfall patterns each year. Later after lunch we depart toward Ngorongoro conservancy. Arriving there you will have a foretaste of what is waiting for you on the following day.

After breakfast you will proceed with the game to Ngorongoro Crater for more game drives. Ngorongoro is a home a home to over 120 species of mammals including the famous Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino) and one among the world’s heritage site. The crater is a place to see the endangered black rhinos enjoying their meals out on the grass plain and the large number of hippos enjoying the cool water. Other animals including Lions, leopards, jackals, cheetahs, hyenas’ wildebeest, Zebra, antelope, buffalo and more. Ngorongoro crater is a truly safari destination. After your all exciting time at the crater you will ascend and proceed to your accommodation for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park

Early morning after breakfast, we depart to Lake Manyara National Park which is an unspoiled paradise and is best known for its abundance of birds and tree-climbing lions. The dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley forms the Park’s western border. Lake Manyara is a shallow freshwater, said to be the “loveliest lake in Africa, covering 127 square miles (329 km2) of Lake Manyara national park, the lake’s alkaline waters cover approximately 89 square miles (231 km2). During your exploration of the park, you may see giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and if you are lucky; lions lounging in the trees. After lunch and an extensive game drive, we head back to Arusha and proceed to airport for your depart back home or extension to Zanzibar.
