Day 1

Arrival-transfer to Lake Mburo

Arrival-transfer to Lake Mburo

Upon arrival, we will be warmly received and begin the journey to Uganda’s smallest but greatly endowed Lake Mburo. This is Uganda’s only park with the largest herds of Zebras and unique antelope species. Along the way, we will get a stop at the Uganda Equator for pictures before we continue to our lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 2

We will awake in the amazing beauty of Lake Mburo that will usher us into the sunrise for a thrilling game drive. We return to the lodge for breakfast and check out to begin journeying to the impenetrable Bwindi Forest. Upon arrival, we will check into our accommodation for dinner and rest.

Day 3

Gorilla Habituation

Gorilla Habituation

After breakfast, we head straight to the park headquarters where we will be briefed on the activity of Gorilla Habituation where we try to achieve a successful introduction of a particular Gorilla family to human presence. Eventually, it can be available to be tracked by visitors. Our day will start rather early so be sure to get plenty of rest the day before. We will have plenty of time in the Bwindi Forest following the tracks of the Gorilla family before us and when we finally stand face to face with these Gentle Giants, we will get time to take plenty of pictures and keenly observe them. We return from the depth of the Forest and get the much-needed rest.

Day 4

From Bwindi to Ishasha- evening game drive

From Bwindi to Ishasha- evening game drive

After breakfast, we check out of the safari lodge and begin the drive to Ishasha. Upon arrival, we check into the lodge and after lunch, we set out for a long game drive for a chance to spot the tree-climbing Lions. We return from the long savannah grassland hopefully with smiles on our faces having seen the tree climbing Lions.

Day 5

In case we didn’t get a chance to spot the tree-climbing lions the previous day, we will take advantage of today to once again explore the savannahs of Ishasha before we set out to the other side of Queen Elizabeth for game viewing. After Lunch, we set out to the Kazinga channel where we will get to explore the aquatic wildlife like the Nile crocodile, hippos, and even the large herds of elephants that come by to drink water. We will wrap this day in sundowner of the crater Lakes.

Day 6

Game viewing - Journey to Kampala

Game viewing - Journey to Kampala

We will be intentional to use our last day effectively to see more of Queen Elizabeth so after breakfast and checking out of the lodge, we will once more set forth on the savannahs of Kasenyi for a morning game drive that will mark the end to our great Uganda adventure. We begin the journey to Entebbe with a stop for lunch. Once in Entebbe, we will be dropped off at Latitude Zero Degrees.
