Game drive through Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti
After breakfast, we set off to explore the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's Seven Wonders. This caldera is renowned for its exceptional game viewing, housing around 25,000 large mammals within its enclosed ecosystem.
As we descend the bumpy, winding track to the caldera floor, we pass through various climatic zones until we reach the expansive landscape 600 meters below. Here, we can expect to see buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, reedbucks, and Thomson's gazelles. Predators like lions and cheetahs may be spotted lounging in the grass or on the hunt, along with some of the more than 500 bird species that call this area home. With a bit of luck, we might even catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino.
After an exciting game drive in the crater, we’ll head back to our carefully chosen quality tented camp in Serengeti National Park.

Our game drive will take us to the lakeshore, where we can view thousands of feeding flamingos and hopefully spot monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and, with some luck, lions lounging in the trees.
Lake Manyara features diverse landscapes, from open grassy plains to woodlands filled with primates and cliffs adorned with baobab trees. Animals often gather near the river, where we can see giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. The park also hosts buffalo, zebras, and wildebeests, all of which are watched over by predators like lions and leopards.
