You'll begin your unforgettable journey from OR Tambo International Airport. From there, you'll embark on a scenic shuttle transfer to Hoedspruit. Upon arrival in Hoedspruit, our team will collect you and transfer you to the tranquil Tomo Safari Lodge in Balule Game Reserve. After settling into your comfortable accommodations, you'll meet your knowledgeable safari guide for an exhilarating sunset safari. This adventure will take you deep into the heart of the African wilderness, pausing for a picturesque sundowner in the bush, before continuing through nightfall with the spotlights out. You will be returning to the lodge for a delightful dinner under the stars in the lodge's traditional African boma.

Day 2

Full-Day Open Vehicle Safari in Central Kruger National Park
Shinzelle Safaris will pick you up in the morning for your Kruger National Park safari. After a short 45-minute transit to Orpen gate, your Kruger Park safari begins. You'll explore the park by an open safari vehicle giving you a full panoramic view of the African bush from a higher vantage point than an ordinary vehicle.
You'll search for all the animal species including the Big Five, with a guide, using expert knowledge to interpret the natural environment in every detail. Your guide will frequent various waterholes and river systems as well as other Kruger hotspots to maximize your opportunity to see as much as possible and ensure the scenery on display is ever-changing and picturesque.
Breakfast will be individually packed by the lodge to be enjoyed at a picnic spot, before you continue on safari for the rest of the day, stopping for lunch in between. You'll return to Tomo Lodge in the afternoon, where you will have some leisure time before dinner is served on the dining deck.

Day 3

You'll join your guide for tea and coffee before heading out on a sunrise safari on the Balule Private Game Reserve where Tomo Safari Lodge is situated. Expert guides will impart their vast knowledge of the African wilderness to you, while in search of the flagship animal species making an African safari special. During this 3-4 hour safari, you will stop to enjoy tea and coffee in the wilderness.
You'll head back for breakfast after the safari, before leisure time, where you can relax by the pool, soak in the view from the bar, have a siesta, or read a book in the beautifully decorated lounge.
High tea is served in the late afternoon before departing on your sunset safari. You will then begin your safari in the Balule Private Game Reserve, which goes into the evening with the spotlights on in search of nocturnal animals that you may not have had the opportunity to see. You'll enjoy sundowners in the bush before heading back to enjoy a meal on the dining deck under the stars.

Day 4

On your 3rd day, you will depart after breakfast for the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. This natural wonder is one of the largest green canyons in the world and is a must-see when visiting the Kruger Canyon region.
The day begins with a boat cruise waiting to take you on a cruise of the Blyde Dam. This leisurely 90-minute cruise will take you to the Kadishi Tufa Waterfall and give you a different perspective of the three rondavels.
You will continue your day with a scenic road trip to the three Rondawels viewpoint, before heading down the canyon to Bourke's Luck Potholes. Once you’ve enjoyed the potholes, you will head for lunch at one of the charming restaurants in the area.
After lunch, you will head back to your accommodation where you can enjoy some rest before dinner is served at the lodge in the evening.

On your final day, you will wake up early for one last adventure, a sunrise safari. This experience allows you to witness the African wilderness as it awakens to the new day. After the safari, you'll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Following check-out, you will bid farewell to the friendly lodge staff and the captivating African landscape. You will transfer to Hoedspruit will lead to a shuttle back to OR Tambo International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
