Nairobi- Lake Nakuru National park

Arrive in Nakuru, which is about a 2-3 hour drive from Nairobi. After arrival have lunch then check into your lodge. After settling in, embark on your first afternoon game drive. Nakuru National Park is famous for its flamingos (depending on the season), which gather along the shores of Lake Nakuru. You'll also have a chance to spot rhinos (both black and white), buffaloes, and various antelope species like impalas and waterbucks. In the evening return to your lodge for dinner and a chance to relax.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Head out early in the morning for a game drive when wildlife is most active search for lions, leopards, hyenas, and the rare Rothschild's giraffes. Later return to your lodge for breakfast then visit the Baboon Cliff viewpoint for breathtaking views of Lake Nakuru and the surrounding landscape. In the afternoon have lunch visit Makalia Falls, a scenic waterfall within the park. It's a great spot to take a short walk and stretch your legs after the game drive. Continue with more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, focusing on areas with thick forests where leopards may be hiding. In the evening return to your accommodation for a restful evening and delicious dinner.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Take a morning excursion outside the park to visit the nearby Menengai Crater, a massive volcanic caldera. The views are incredible, and you can learn about the geological history of the region. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, have some rest and relax as you wait for lunch. In the evening return to the park for another afternoon game drive, with a focus on bird watching around the lake and forested areas. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake National Park - Nairobi

In the morning go on one final early morning game drive, savoring the last moments of wildlife viewing. Visit any areas of the park you may have missed, or spend more time near the lake, enjoying the sight of flamingos. Return to your lodge for breakfast and prepare to check out.
