3-Day Dream Safari from Zanzibar to Selous Park by Boat

A Journey from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (Boat Safari)

You will be picked up from your hotel/airport at 6:00 am. It takes 20 minutes to reach the ferry in Zanzibar for a boat trip will start at 7:00 am and reach Dar city at 8:30 am then start the trip from Dar to Selous Game Reserve meet your driver-guide. Normally the drive takes 6 up to 7hrs (219km) both tarmac and off-road. On the way, you will get a hot lunch and drinks. Then, you'll continue the trip to Nyerere. After arriving at 3:00 pm, you will check in at the camp and then do a boat safari for 2 hours. It is guided by a boatman who has grown up on the river and knows all the little nooks and crannies where a boat can sneak through like the back of his hand. You will get close to hippopotamus and crocodiles.

Full-Day Game Drive at Nyerere National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll go on a game drive in a specially modified safari vehicle with a professional guide. You should see and learn much about a large number of animals, including all the great favorites —lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebra, hunting dogs, and the other major species including now rare African hunting dogs a great variety of bird species, and wonderful scenery.

Walking Safari and Drive to Dar then to Zanzibar

Walking safari is a fantastic way to get close to nature and learn more about the smaller species. Though you may spot some giraffes or walk in the footsteps of elephants, our walking safari is tailored to allow you to learn about the things you miss from your vehicle or boat and the ecosystem that the animals live in. You'll learn to identify animal tracks and signs and hear fascinating information about insects, trees, and colorful birdlife.
Walks are slow-paced accompanied by both an armed ranger and our expert guide and are around 2- 3 hours long.
