Day 1

Transfer to Mikumi NP

Transfer to Mikumi NP

The driver will be there early in the morning to pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to the ferry to catch your boat to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, the driver-guide will meet you and start the safari to Mikumi National Park, which will take about 6 hours. During your safari drive to the park, we will stop for lunch. Upon arrival at Mikumi National Park, you will enter the park and have a game drive until sunset. You will have dinner and spend the evening at Camp Bastian.

Game Drive - Maasai Village - Departure

The guide will be there at around 06h00 for another game drive, the best time to see animals such as elephant, lion, leopard, crocodile, hippo, zebra, wildebeest, and buffalo. After that, we will pass by a Maasai village to learn about their culture. In the afternoon, we will check out and start the safari to Dar es Salaam. We will catch the last flight heading to Zanzibar. This will be the end of the safari.
