As the sun rises, illuminating the vibrant landscape, you’ll traverse the reserve, searching for its remarkable inhabitants. The thrill of spotting the Blue-legged Somali Ostrich or the Long-necked Gerenuk gazelle is invigorating. After several hours of exploration, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch, sharing stories about the morning’s encounters. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on another game drive, perhaps venturing to different areas of the reserve to see even more wildlife, concluding your day with a spectacular sunset over the savannah.

Samburu National Reserve - Olpejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a haven for wildlife and conservation efforts. The drive takes you through beautiful terrain, and you’ll arrive at your lodge in time for a delicious lunch. After settling in, you might have the chance to join an afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos, and a sanctuary for over 110 critically endangered black rhinos.
You stand the chance of spotting some of Kenya’s more unusual critters. Aardvark, zorillas, bat-eared foxes, leopard, and lion hunts are just some of sights included.
