Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, our company representative will pick you up and drive you to Volcanoes National Park. Lunch will be served upon your arrival in the afternoon. You will then check in at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge and later enjoy cultural entertainment at the Iby'iwacu village. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Golden Monkey Trekking

After breakfast, we will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don'ts during the golden monkey trekking activity. The trekking activity will last between four and six hours, and we will return for lunch. After lunch, we will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We will have dinner and stay overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.

Gorilla Trekking

You will have an early breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing at 7:30am. During the briefing, you will be informed about the rules that must be obeyed during the gorilla trekking activity. You will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and guides to lead you to the gorillas. The trek will take two to five hours; upon sighting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them. Afterward, you can enjoy entertainment from the Batwa people. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.

Return to Kigali
