Pick-up then drive to the Kazinga Channel
This fun-filled, action-packed tour completes as much as possible in a short time. You will start at 5 am from Kampala or another area by prior arrangement. Drive to Kazinga Channel, where you will embark on an amazing boat trip to view hippos, crocs, herds of elephants, an abundance of birdlife, and more! Then, you will set off into Queen Elizabeth National Park for a safari, searching for the tree-climbing lions, waterbucks, warthogs and other mammals and, hopefully, see the elusive leopard.
You will then retire for the night at your accommodation, which is close to the lake. Fall asleep to the sound of the grazing hippos and the African wildlife.

Tree-climbing lions search
Awake early, have a dawn safari, and then return 2 to 3 hours later for breakfast. Spend some time by the lake watching hippos, monitors, lizards, birds, and more. After lunch, embark on another safari. Lunch, dinner and water are provided on all days of this safari.
Our experienced trackers will do their best to track the tree-climbing lions, an experience you will never forget. On return from your early safari, have a filling breakfast and then go on a walking safari close to the lake with a guide to see the local fishermen bringing in their catch. See hippos cooling themselves in the shallows. Before dinner, you will leave for your next accommodation, which is on Lake George within the national park, and go on an evening safari before settling in at your accommodation for the night.

After your visit to the salt lakes, you may get a chance to visit a local craft village to purchase souvenirs.
