You'll arrive at Entebbe International Airport. After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kampala.
You will be received by our representative on your arrival at Entebbe International Airport. You'll be driven to your hotel so you may check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to spend in any way you choose depending on your time of arrival. You'll take on a tour of the Mabamba Swamp, and our staff will arrange for the inclusive shoebill.

Exploring Kampala, City Tour
After breakfast, you will spend the day visiting Kampala, the capital of Uganda, with your guide. You will visit among others the Uganda National Museum, the Tombs of the Buganda Kings, the Uganda Martyrs' Shrine, the Gadhafi Mosque, a local art market, etc.
You will then return to the hotel.

Transfer to Kibale National Park
Early morning after breakfast to Kibale National Park, considered the primate capital of East Africa. Once you arrive, you will check in at the lodge and have some time to relax. In the late afternoon, you will take a walk at Bigodi Wetlands.
This natural area allows you to walk around a swamp and is ideal for bird watching (there are more than 200 species), seeing animals, and meeting the local community. You will sleep in a lodge within the park.

Encounters with Chimpanzee in Kibale National Park
You'll have an early start to the day. You will meet at 7:30 am at the Kanyanchu Visitor Center for the start of your trek to see chimpanzees. This will start with a briefing with the rangers (what you can do in front of the chimpanzees, what you should not do, etc.).
Then it's off for a trek that will last between two and four hours. Then, you can spend an hour with your group of chimpanzees. After the trek, you will return to the lodge. The rest of the day will be free to relax.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On the way to Queen Elizabeth National Park! The road to the park offers splendid landscapes: crater lakes, and Rwenzori mountains in the background. On arrival, you will check-in and relax.
In the late afternoon, you will see explosion craters and the Katwe crater, known for its salt mine. You will then return to the lodge.

Guided Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel
You'll have an early breakfast (around 6:30 am) then you will go on a safari and try to track the park's lions and other predators. During this safari, you will have the opportunity to see many other animals: elephants, elands, greater kudus, and buffaloes.
In the early afternoon, you will arrive at the Kazinga Channel. You will take a boat ride where you will once again have the opportunity to see many animals: hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and lots of water birds. You will then return to the lodge.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Ishasha Sector
After a morning game drive in Ishasha, it is time to move to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the famous mountain gorillas. You'll check in at the lodge and prepare for yet another highlight of this amazing trip: tracking mountain gorillas!
Later in the afternoon, you will take a visit to the Batwa community to learn about their way of living and historical ways of living with the mountain gorillas.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You'll have breakfast and with a packed lunch, you'll go for gorilla tracking for 4 to 5 hours. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park inhabits almost half of the world’s 650 mountain gorillas. You'll start climbing early with a tracker even though seeing gorillas depends on their day’s movements. Gorillas are naturally reserved and non-violent animals.
It’s a memorable and thrilling moment to watch them and possibly photograph these mild giants at a close range. After the gorilla trek, the guide will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. You may do a boat canoe on the lake (price not included).
You'll enjoy a relaxed evening as you sip a cold drink. Later, you will have dinner and an overnight stay at Sharp Island Lodge.

Transfer to Kigali Airport
Your guide will take you to Kigali International Airport in Rwanda via the Katuna International Border. You will have lunch in Kigali and then be transferred to the airport. It's already the end of the holiday.
