In the morning after your delicious breakfast at the hotel in Rwanda, you will start off with your safari driver guide for your 6 days amazing adventure safari in both Rwanda and Uganda, first touring Kigali city to visit Camp Kigali, Kigali Genocide Memorial site, and the Capalaki Craft Market. You will then have lunch and thereafter set for a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park.

Day 2

On this day, you will wake up early, have your breakfast, and assemble at the park headquarters ready for golden monkey trekking. You will be taken through a short briefing then set off together with the park ranger guide and start your trek which takes between 2-6 hours depending on where you find the golden monkeys.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will get to your lodge in the evening, have dinner, and an overnight stay.

Today is the moment you’ve been waiting for, the chance to encounter mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After breakfast, you gather with your fellow adventurers for a briefing from your guides. With hearts pounding with excitement, you set off into the dense forest, following the ancient paths carved by generations of wildlife. The trek is both exhilarating and challenging, but the moment you lay eyes on a family of gorillas peacefully going about their daily lives, all fatigue melts away.

For one magical hour, you’re immersed in their world, observing their behaviors and marveling at their sheer strength and grace. As you make your way back to camp, you’re filled with a profound sense of gratitude for this rare and unforgettable experience.
After lunch, head for a cultural experience where you will visit the Batwa community. Learn more as you get entertained by the traditional dances, taste local meals, witness local fire making and more. Return to your lodge.

Leaving Bwindi behind, you embark on the next leg of your journey, bound for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes you through diverse landscapes, from mist-shrouded mountains to vast savannah plains. Along the way, you pass through bustling towns and encounter friendly locals going about their daily routines. Arriving at the park, you’re greeted by panoramic views of rolling hills and shimmering lakes.

After settling into your lodge, you set out on an afternoon/evening game drive, eagerly scanning the horizon for signs of wildlife. As the sun begins to set, you return to the lodge, reflecting on the day’s adventures under the star-studded African sky.

Awakening to the sounds of the African bush, you set out before dawn for an early morning game drive. With the golden light of sunrise illuminating the landscape, you spot a dazzling array of wildlife, from majestic lions lounging in the grass to graceful antelopes bounding across the plains. Returning to camp/lodge for a hearty breakfast, you then embark on a leisurely boat safari along the Kazinga Channel.

Drifting serenely along the tranquil waters, you’re treated to close-up views of hippos wallowing in the shallows, crocodiles basking on the banks, and a colorful array of birdlife flitting among the reeds. Have lunch and as the day draws to a close, you can’t help but feel a profound appreciation for the natural wonders of Uganda.
